Mallorca, being one of the areas most impacted by tourism, can lead this paradigm shift. Thus, responsible tourism and ecological filming meet in this Green Film Forum, which will turn the Balearic Islands into a reference territory in sustainability.
The Mallorca Film Commission
The Mallorca Film Commission (MFC) is the organizer of the Green Film Forum. It is one of the pillars of the Fundació Mallorca Turisme, an entity created with the aim of optimizing the promotion of tourism in Mallorca.
Integrated within the Spain Film Commission (SFC), the European Film Commission Network (EuFCN) and the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI), the MCF offers free services to all the Majorcan territory with three objectives:
- Facilitate the filming of audiovisual projects to professionals and companies.
- Stimulate and consolidate the Mallorcan audiovisual industry.
- Facilitate the co-production and internationalization through attendance to markets, festivals and fairs.
In this way, the world of tourism and the world of cinema come together in the ideal place to attract productions committed to sustainability: Mallorca.
Come to the Green Film Forum on October 18, 19 and 20 in Mallorca and be part of the event that will mark the beginning of the change towards a more sustainable cinema and future.
